LeoStick upload program error
Just this week, I was gifted a Freetronics LeoStick from a colleague at the university, so I decided to take a look at it over the weekend. I have modified the code and got something that compiles with bytes of RAM used, but I have not got this successfully working yet actually mounting the freeteonics. Edit the makefile, specify your microcontroller choice atmega32u4, or whatever and clock frequency appropriately, and set the AVR programmer type you’re using eg. The only slightly annoying factor is having to unplug the SD card wires from the ISP port on the LeoStick before programming, because freetrnoics only accessible at this point, not also on the main headers.
Power can also be fed through the pins directly if necessary. There is no on-board voltage regulators, as is the case for miniaturized versions of the Arduino, so you must supply only 5v to this board.
If you wish to use this for lostick prototyping, you will probably be interested in soldering the provided headers to the board. To be fair, Freetronics have used their own VID and PID combination, hence they require a separate driver package to be installed under Windows to make it work.
