uniprocesslr With three images to maintain, I need to do all this three times every time there’s a change to the image. Finally my PC got up to speed! Windows won’t let you uninstall the one it is currently using in Device Manager, so there won’t be an uninstall option for the Standard PC entry.
Tech Support Guy is completely free — paid for by advertisers and donations. Dell has a hidden partition on D that can’t be seen on the Windows setup screen.
HAL: “ACPI Uniprocessor PC” vs. “Advanced Configuration and Power Interface PC”?
We’ve recently switched to WDS. This option requires no OS understanding. Different images for different HAL versions boil down to three different files: I’m now able to deploy the WDS image on the D, where before I could not, but once deployed the image won’t boot.
