I will just assume it is a broken MB and get it back. It fits the MB pins fine. When I attach the headphones in front panel, there is no sound. Or it is just useless, and working on MB package advertisment only? There is a part of the forum dedicated to Vista, and sound – esp Realtek – is a common issue. Go get me people with the same problem, all reproducible and that I can pass on to MSI. Your conclusion is, of course, that it is a problem of everything else except MSI.

Richard on January, That is a fact, and we have to live with it. I have tires on the car think of this as your case Now I tell you I have a problem in turns with the tires. When I attach the headphones in front panel, there is no sound. Please login or register. And maybe it’s a MSI problem Or maybe some special driver?
I have the same problem. It fits the MB pins fine. I am not in front of your comp, so unless I go out and buy a Crystal Ball, there is little help I am going to be able to give you.
You have a problem I attached the pinout for the mobo. And this is what pisses me off. Is there a switch to turn this on?

Front panel was working on a previous ASUS motherboard. It might very well be a Vista problem.
I have the latest drivers installed. Looks like it should be working.
jeo Custom Computers of Naples, Inc. It is something with motherboard, or it’s software, or it’s drivers. There is a part of the forum dedicated to Vista, and sound – esp Realtek – is a common issue.
I did buy your product. I checked the cable 3 times. It is just rude, if not plain stupid, to treat a customer like that.
I’m also pretty sure that everything is connected as it should be. I did not give you any details on the tire or your case skund how can you tell you where the problem is. Any by the way, for your outburst, this thread is locked. If not, don’t say anything, please.
MSI ships millions of units a month. With only one person having an issue with a generic case, not much I can do. Worked fine on old asus motherboard until yesterday. Not beacuse MSI motherboard doesn’t work, but because I’m treated here this way.
